You already know that going through a breakup means allowing your feelings to come to the surface, and finding safe places to process those feelings.

Ask for Help
“At some point, even the best of us need help,” says coach Krista Rizzo, “as soon as you begin to implement asking for help in your life, your mindset will shift, your priorities will change, and you’ll have the ability to focus on you...”
Asking for help could include seeing a coach or a therapist, or going to a trusted friend for advice. It could also look like hiring a house cleaner or asking a family member or baby sitter to watch the kids for an hour while you take some time for yourself.
Neglecting to ask for help will negatively impact your relationships with your kids, your friends, your colleagues, and most importantly - it will negatively impact you.
When you gain the courage to ask for help, you finally unlock opportunities, and free up the energy to be resilient.
Make Big Mistakes
As Albert Einstein once said, “anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”
Mistakes are chances to grow. They are opportunities to recognize new paths forward, learn new skills, and to develop your sense of self. Those who shy away from mistakes miss some of the most valuable experiences in life.
“... some failure in life is inevitable,” says author J.K. Rowling, “It is impossible to live life without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all - in which case, you fail by default.”
Use Your Falls as a Catalyst
Remember, every mistake is an opportunity. And asking for help from friends and professionals will allow you to use this part of your life as a chance for growth. The falls you take will no longer be monsters you don’t want to face, but challenges you have both the skills and the resolve to overcome.
